हर एक संकट का हल होगा, वो आज नहीं तो कल होगा

माना कि चांद पे ग्रहण है और रात भी गहराई है
पर कृष्ण ने साफ कहा है कि बस कर्म  तुम्हारा कल होगा
और  कर्म में अगर सच्चाई है तो कर्म कहां निष्फल  होगा

सोने को जितनी आग लगे वो उतना प्रखर निकलता है

सूरज जैसा बनना है तो, सूरज इतना जलना होगा
नदियों का आदर पाना है तो पर्वत छोर निकलना होगा

Google Doodle celebrates Russian surgeon Vera Gedroits. Who was she?

Google Doodle celebrated Russian surgeon, professor, poet, and author Dr Vera Gedroits on her 151st birthday on April 19 with an animated graphic. Vera Gedroits was the first woman military surgeon in Russia, the first woman professor of surgery, and the first woman to serve as a physician in the Imperial Palace of Russia. She saved innumerable lives through her fearless service and innovations in the field of wartime medicine.

Today’s Google Doodle features an animated illustration of Vera Gedroits in her medical uniform. An X-ray plate also appears in the background.

WHO IS VERA GEDROITS?

Born in 1870 into a prominent family of Lithuanian royal descent in Kiev, then part of the Russian Empire, Vera Ignatievna Gedroits left Russia to study medicine in Switzerland in her late teens. After returning home at the turn of the 20th century, Vera Gedroits pursued her medical career as the surgeon at a factory hospital.

“When the Russo-Japanese War broke out in 1904, Dr Gedroits volunteered as a surgeon on a Red Cross hospital train. Under threat of enemy fire, she performed complex abdominal operations in a converted railway car with such unprecedented success that her technique was adopted as the new standard by the Russian government. Following her battlefield service, Dr Gedroits worked as a surgeon for the Russian royal family before her return home to Kiev, where she was appointed professor of surgery at the University of Kiev in 1929,” the Google Doodle page writes of Vera Gedroits While teaching at the University of Kiev, Vera Gedroits also authored several medical papers on nutrition and surgical treatments. Apart from medical writings, she also published multiple collections of poems, and several nonfiction works, including her memoir titled Life, which was published in 1931.

Vera Gedroits was diagnosed with cancer in 1931 and died in March 1947. She was 78.

all About JEE(Main) 2021

 The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), which is now known as the Ministry of Education, Government of India (GOI), has established National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent, autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organization under Society Registration Act 1860 for conducting efficient, transparent and international standards tests in order to assess the competency of candidates for admissions to premier higher education institutions.

The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (now known as Ministry of Education), Government of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main) to the NTA from 2019 onwards.

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) comprises of two papers. The Paper1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments, as well as an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs.

The JEE (Main) is being conducted in multiple Sessions (February/March/April/May 2021) for admissions in the next academic session. The candidates will thus benefit in the following ways:

1. This will give multiple opportunities to the candidates to improve their scores in the examination if they fail to give their best in the first attempt without wasting their whole academic year.
2. In first attempt, the students will get a first-hand experience of taking an examination and will know their mistakes which they can improve while attempting for the next time.
3. This will reduce the chances of dropping a year and droppers would not have to waste a full year.
4. If anyone missed the examination due to reasons beyond control, then he/she will not have to wait for one full year.

The student’s best of the 2021 NTA Scores will be considered for preparation of Merit List/ Ranking.

Important units

Generally, 5 marks questions are asked from the following units:

1. Electrochemistry

2. Chemical kinetics

3. P block elements

4. D and F block elements

5. Aldehydes, ketones and carboxylic acids.

Students should concentrate more on the above-stated units.

Written practice

Chemical equations from both organic and inorganic chemistry are easy to understand but difficult to learn. The only way to learn these equations is written practice. Students should practice these reactions by writing them as much as possible.

Solving numerical

Before solving numerical questions, students should keep in mind the following things:

• First, write all the information provided.
• Next, write the formula.
• Then put all the values with their units.
• At last, instead of taking much time in calculations, leave space for the numerical value in answer, but write unit.
• After completing the paper, do calculations for the final answer to the numerical questions.

Sometimes, students are too much involved in calculations, that later they fail to manage time and the entire exam gets affected.

Preparation of organic Chemistry

Students should write named reactions, tests to distinguish between compounds and conversions from all the units of organic chemistry altogether in the form of notes and then they should do written practice of them many times.

Preparation of inorganic Chemistry

Generally, three types of questions are asked from inorganic chemistry viz. to complete the equations, to draw the structures and conceptual questions. Conceptual questions and structures are easier to prepare than equations, so students should give preference to these questions.

"If there is an internal choice in the questions of inorganic Chemistry, give preference to structures and conceptual rather than to equations," said Vinita Vashist.

Preparation of tail chapters

Often we say that the last three chapters of 'Biomolecules', 'Polymers' and 'Chemistry in everyday life' are tail chapters. These three chapters are very scoring; students should prepare very short notes of these chapters in tabular form and should have a quick review of them. These notes are really beneficial.

Solving previous years' question papers

This practice is highly recommended. Students should solve the previous years' question papers like mock tests because while solving the question papers of previous years, students understand the time management and develop the temperament of facing the challenges of the exam.

Solving sample papers

Students should solve at least 10 sample papers of Chemistry if they want to score 95 plus marks. It will definitely improve their confidence and prepare them to face the challenges.
